The RCC Bio Septic Tank has inlet chute for human waste. The bacteria being produced from our own inoculum plant for bio septic tanks are introduced into the bio septic tank whereby the once solid waste is converted into liquid effluent which can be drained off to any surface and used for irrigation purposes.

The waste inlet pipe linking the toilet to the bio septic tank is located at the tank entrance. The exit tube for carrying the contaminated liquid is situated on the contrary side. The anaerobic bacterial inoculum is subsequently pumped into the bio septic tank. Sewage is channeled through the inlet pipe into the bio septic tank. It is then handled by the symbiotic bacterial consortium, which converts the waste into gas and wastewater. The produced effluent comes out through the outlet pipe and provides water for gardening or could be processed further by passing it over reed bed system.

The reed bed system can be provided as an option for the second treatment of the effluent from the bio-tank, for its additional polishing. Reed bed system goes with beds of sand and pebbles including all natural wet land plants. The reed bed can help to improve the effluent water from the bio- waste tank by completely removing unpleasant smells, suspended particles and harmful micro-organisms. The effluent is very environment-friendly as it can be safely disposed of back into the natural environment. A pump may be added after using the water entering the reed-bed system. A solar panel could be used to provide power to this pump such that it would be environmentally friendly.
Bio septic tank cum reed bed system is also the favorite treatment unit for the waste water coming from kitchens and bathrooms and when passing on from the pipe channel of bio septic tank, only treated sewage/ sewage effluent goes via the reed bed.

Bio septic tanks being of various sizes are either for a single household or for multi-slab apartment buildings. This ecological device is suitable for large temperature intervals.
